- Talk to a medical provider if you think you may have a post-COVID condition.
- If you or your medical provider are looking for an outpatient clinic specializing in post-COVID conditions, refer to this list of current post-COVID clinics.

Planning for your appointment with a medical provider
- Make sure you have everything you need for your appointment by referring to the CDC Healthcare Appointment Checklist for Post-COVID Conditions
Tools for recovery and rehabilitation
- For some patients, at-home exercises can help with recovery and rehabilitation. See Bouncing Back From COVID-19: Your Guide to Restoring Movement from Johns Hopkins Medicine.
- Some people with long COVID may suffer from Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and post-exertional malaise (PEM). Some of these symptoms can be treated or managed.
Support groups for post-COVID conditions
- Support and patient advocacy groups for people with post-COVID conditions include: Body Politic, Survivor Corps, Long COVID Alliance, Long COVID Families, and Long COVID Kids.
- See the CDC’s webpage on Caring for People with Post-COVID Conditions for more resources, as well as CDC’s How Right Now support page.
- Long COVID can be challenging for both people experiencing it and their loved ones and caregivers. Add mental health resources to your personal care toolbox.
