November 2022: The new Health+ Long COVID Report commissioned by HHS and produced by an independent third-party agency compliments the existing landscape of Long COVID scientific literature and anecdotes with the narratives and expertise of caregivers, frontline workers, and people experiencing Long COVID and its associated conditions.
Since the release of the National Research Action Plan and the Services and Supports for Longer-Term Impacts of COVID-19 HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary of Health, Office of Science and Medicine has made listening to and collaborating with Long COVID patients a priority. Through collaboration with federal partners, researchers, clinicians and patient advocacy organizations we continue to make progress towards addressing the longer-term impacts of the worst public health crisis in a century.
